Asbestos Testing and Sampling Blackpool
Sometimes a full Asbestos Survey is not required on a property, generally domestic, however sometimes commercial also (if an existing asbestos survey is already place). Knight Specialist Services Ltd regularly attend Client’s homes and carry out one off Asbestos Testing. An example would be if you come across some suspicious looking floor tiles under your carpets, laminate flooring or vinyl. You can see a picture here of what an Asbestos Floor Tiles look like. Or you may already have an asbestos survey in place, however during your refurbishment works, you may come across some material which may not have been identified on the original survey and requires a one off Asbestos Testing
This level of services can be undertaken from £130.00 (you pay £130.00 with no VAT on our costs) + £25 per sample. We offer a 3-4 day turnaround or a 24 hour turnaround from the UKAS Laboratory.
Once your results have been received and should the asbestos testing identify positive asbestos fibres, Knight Specialist Services Ltd can provide you with the advice and recommendations for the safe removal, encapsulation or in some instances the asbestos material can remain in situ if in good condition and unlikely to be disturbed in the future.
